SSHelper is an advanced, multi-protocol, secure server designed for the Android platform.

• SSHelper is compatible with both normal, unrooted Android devices and offers additional features for rooted devices.
• It operates as both an application and a service, allowing it to run in the background and provide secure communication protocols without user intervention.
• SSHelper facilitates interactive Secure Shell (SSH) sessions and supports various types of transfers like scp, sftp, and rsync on all major platforms.

On Windows, users can seamlessly utilize SSHelper with WinSCP, PuTTY, and similar programs. For Linux users, SSHelper integrates with file browsers for smooth filesystem browsing and transfers by specifying the "sftp:" protocol during SSH shell sessions. Mac users can benefit from SSHelper's compatibility with Cyberduck and similar software.

SSHelper versions greater than or equal to 7.8 are no longer restricted to wireless networks - they support any network type recognized by Android. Additionally, SSHelper utilizes Zeroconf/Bonjour to announce its presence on the network efficiently.

SSHelper comes equipped with a log monitor Web server displaying an activity log on local network browsers. Furthermore, it features a clipboard Web server that allows read/write access to the Android clipboard from local network browsers.
